Over 1,700 houses damaged in Cambodia due to floods

As a result of the floods in Cambodia, more than 1,700 houses were damaged.

According to the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM), floods swept the provinces of Kampongspa, Battambang, Kahkong and Kampongsaom. Damage to 1786 houses, flooded 11 hectares of rice fields.

Flooding began on July 17 after heavy rains.

Under the influence of the tropical storm Son-Tinh, which landed on land in northern Vietnam on July 18, more severe weather is forecasted in Cambodia over the next few days, including heavy rains.
