Pakistan – Temperatures in Karachi to reach 43 degrees

Temperatures are expected to rise to 43 degrees today in Karachi, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

Thursday morning the temperature was recorded at 32 degrees with a humidity of 35%. Hot winds in the city are blowing at 11 kilometers per hour. In reality, the temperature can reach 47 degrees. According to Sardar Sarfaraz of the weather department, the weather is expected to improve starting Wednesday.

“Sea breezes will start blowing as soon as Cyclone Tauktae passes. The sea storm is currently 580 kilometers off the coast of Karachi. It has made landfall in Mumbai, India, and is moving toward Gujarat. The Sindh government has issued flood and storm warnings in Thatta, Badin and Mirpurkhas, where rains are expected. Fishermen have been warned not to put to sea until May 20.
