Russia: A man died in Primorsky Krai after being struck by lightning

A man in Primorsky Krai died after being struck by lightning in front of his son, according to the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The day before, in the morning, the father and his son went out in two rubber boats to the Gulf of Angle to catch jellyfish.

At some point the weather at sea deteriorated: it started raining heavily with thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning strikes.

The son turned around and saw a bright flash of lightning near his father, who fell into the water. The son dragged his father to the shore, who showed no signs of life.

Doctors arrived on the scene and pronounced the man dead.
