20 Jun geophysicist Paul Einarsson of the University of Iceland issued a public statement which warned citizens about the dangers of an eruption and recommended to refrain from visiting the volcano Hekla.
The scientist said that this volcano shows all the signs of the coming cataclysm and could erupt at any moment. Einarsson focused public attention on the fact that this volcano has erupted every 10 years, but the last eruption it has been 16, which suggests that inside the volcano pressure is through the roof and a new eruption will be much more powerful than the previous.
“Hekla is a very dangerous volcano. When this thing erupts, everyone should be prepared for a large disaster,” warned the scientist.
