A strong hurricane hit the Altai Territory on Saturday night. The Soviet district got the hardest – the wind knocked down the trees, tore off the houses of the roof and de-energized 8 villages.
Without electricity, there were more than 750 people. Nearly 200 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are involved in eliminating the consequences of the disaster.
The damage caused by the weather is counted. However, it is known that socially significant objects have not suffered. Weather forecasters also promise thunderstorms on Saturday.
