Strong rains caused flood in Saudi Arabia

Heavy rains caused chaos in the city of Taif, the administrative district of Mecca in the west of Saudi Arabia. In many areas, due to bad weather, power failures were observed.

The downpour did not subside within five hours, triggering floods. Rain water flooded roads and houses and a newly constructed expensive tunnel. The traffic was paralyzed. Saved at least 42 people who were trapped in their cars in the swirling streams of water.
