Tokyo Haneda Airport urgently closed one of the runways, it uncovered cracks of unknown origin.
The airport staff found damages on the runway, which could cause emergency situations during the landing or take-off of aircraft. The incident was reported by the Ministry of State Lands, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan.
The Haneda airport management set up a group to investigate the causes of cracks. While only the remaining three runways are operating at the airport, in this connection, the office of the Tokyo Haneda, there are possible changes in the flight schedule and airport disruptions.
