Tornado hits southeast Queensland, Australia


A tornado damaged buildings at Brisbane Airport when a supercell of thunderstorms struck southeast Queensland.

The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed that the tornado formed near the airport around 10 a.m. Friday, with video footage showing it lasting only a minute or two.

The Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) reported some damage, mostly in the international terminal.
