Two people killed, seven injured in Ukraine due to bad weather

Residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, in parts of Ukraine-controlled areas became victims of bad weather. Two people were killed and seven were hospitalized as a result of the complication of weather conditions, said the Emergencies Service

Thus, over the past 24 hours as a result of squall wind and heavy rains, 100 roofs were damaged and 90 trees were fallen. One person died and seven were hospitalized as a result of falling trees in the towns of Druzhkovka and Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region.

In addition, one person died in the Luhansk region due to the fall of the roof.

In addition, 38 private homes and yards were flooded in Odessa region due to intensive rainfall (about 31 mm or 80% of the monthly norm).

Units of the Emergencies Service evacuated 18 people from flooded homes.

As of July 22, 99 settlements in eight regions of Ukraine remain without electricity.
