“Green” buildings, especially skyscrapers, these days becoming more and more popular with each passing day. It comes as the roofs covered with greenery, and the walls with vertical gardens.
According to the new draft, two fully “green” skyscraper is planned to be built in Nanjing, the former capital of China. The height of one skyscraper will equal to 200 meters, at that time, as another skyscraper will have a height of 108 meters.
It is expected that in total, the surfaces of the two skyscrapers will be planted about 600 large trees, and about 500 trees of medium size. Plus, approximately 2,500 of climbing plants will grow on these buildings. A large part of the plants are integrated into the balconies.
