New geomagnetic storms are possible on June 12-13

The earth passes through a wide space between the streams of high-speed solar wind.

This should deter geomagnetic activity on our planet until the solar wind accelerates again. It is projected that this may happen on 12 or 13 June, then geomagnetic fluctuations and storms are possible. Until then, any polar lights will come as a surprise.
