Scientists videotaped an attack of killer whales on a dolphin

Scientists working off the coast of Namibia, filmed a video of two killer whales on a dolphin. The researchers were studying the effects of the oil spill when they saw two predators chasing the dolphin.

The record shows how one of the killer whales for a moment appears on the surface, holding the victim in the mouth, then hides in the water.

According to a member of the group of researchers Simon Elven, the next day after the incident on the shore, the gnawed remains of the Heaviside dolphin were discovered. Alvin said that over 20 years of working with marine animals has never met so disfigured bodies.
