COVID-19 incidence in Moscow (Russia) decreased by 14%

In the capital, 6,590 people were infected with covid for a day, the first day in more than a week when the incidence decreased rather than increased. The day before there were 7704 infections. That is a decrease of 14%, according to a report by the Coronavirus Task Force.

Seventy-two patients died in Moscow. Overall, more than 1.24 million people became ill during the pandemic in the city. There were 2,979 deaths. A total of 371 people died in Russia with COVID-19; during the entire pandemic 126,801 people died.

The disease was overcome by 8,312 people in 24 hours and more than 4.8 million over the entire period.

It is also noted that there is no increase in cases in the Chukotka Autonomous District. There was a minimal increase of 0.04% in Tyva and North Ossetia-Alania.

Authorities and physicians call upon citizens to be vaccinated, because even if a vaccinated person falls ill, he will suffer a mild illness. The Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin announced the launch of the vaccination incentive program with a car lottery. Every week five cars worth about a million will be raffled off. On the public services of the Moscow region there is a link where you can register and take part in the drawing of an apartment. The only condition – you need to be vaccinated against covid.
