Another COVID-19 strain found in Britain

Two cases of a new strain of coronavirus have been identified in the UK. It is worth noting that this is another new infection mutation. It was brought from the Republic of South Africa. This was announced by the country’s Minister of Health Matt Hancock.

The Minister of Health drew attention to the fact that this mutation is more infectious than the previous one, RIA Novosti reports. The sick went to self-isolation.

Recall that earlier in the United Kingdom, a new strain of COVID-19 was identified, in connection with which a number of countries suspended passenger communication with the state.

In the UK, from December 26, it was decided to tighten restrictive measures in connection with the epidemiological situation. They will spread to more regions.
