The ability to feel helps us to do absolutely everything, starting with waking up and ending with bedtime. Let’s find out how our body determines the time of day.
In 1962, a French speleologist Michel Sifr had a very interesting and at the same time, non-standard experiment – he was trapped for months in a cave without light and hours. Connecting yourself to the sensors that control the physiology of the body, he followed his state while sleeping and eating. After he came out, it turned out that his body retained its normal routine. Thus, it was shown that our body alone can determine the time of day. Later scientists found that it affects many processes in the human body. So how does our body determines what time it is?
