China has made progress in the process of creating artificial intelligence, said at a press conference on Saturday, the Minister of Science and Technology of China, Wang Gang.
According to him, the creation and development of artificial intelligence is one that the authorities will pay attention to for a long time. Wang Gang noted that many Chinese companies are developing artificial intelligence systems, for example, Huawei, Alibaba and Biadu.
“Since last year, important progress has been made in such areas as deep training technology (artificial intelligence), integration processes, human-machine coordination, swarm intelligence,” said Wang Gang.
According to the Minister of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China, artificial intelligence in the future can lead to socio-economic development, improving people’s lives, especially in the field of precision medicine, care for the elderly.
According to the draft plan for social and economic development of China for 2017, the authorities are planning to accelerate the technology of creating artificial intelligence and research and development in other industries.
