Emanuele Fornasier had interesting experiment, passing electric current through solutions of various compounds and writing video on how to produce crystals.
According to the author, this video is the first in a long cycle of videomaterials research project on the crystallization of metals. These excellent structures are the result of a chemical reaction during which metal is deposited from solution on the metal surface. Formation of crystals may take from several hours to several days. Under the influence of electric current, the crystals slowly, layer by layer, come into the light.
