The Australians filmed a whole caravan of caterpillars. Fluffy larvae crawled one after another, stretching for several meters.
An incredible sight was noticed in the Olding Scrub reserve, 46 km from Adelaide in the south of the country. Eyewitnesses counted 67 caterpillars in the “caravan”.
It is believed that such joint “travels” of caterpillars are undertaken in search of food. Locals also claim that “caravans” appear before a cold winter.
