Chinese archaeologists have recently discovered more than 90 ancient tombs in Sichuan, scholars believe that they belong to the era of the Eastern Han dynasty (22-220 AD).

Excavations were conducted from July 2017 to March 2018 in Jintang County, Chengdu City District. Research in this area was initiated before the construction of a large complex of buildings was to begin in this area.

Archaeologists have discovered about 400 items that are used in funerary ceremonies, as well as products or fragments of porcelain, silver, iron and clay products, among which clay pots and dishes, axes, figures of people and animals.

Scientists believe that the find will allow a better study of the life and development of society at that time.
