In Italy, customs officials found a dinosaur egg in a parcel

The fossilized eggshell attached to the rock arrived in Italy from Malaysia. Someone bought a dinosaur egg from an online store. At the same time, the parcel was accompanied by dubious documents – the certificate was issued by a non-existent agency.

Airport workers handed the package to the Archeology Office of the Provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. Scientists have come to the conclusion that this is the egg of a shunosaurus – a large herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the territory of modern China.

The recipient of the parcel decided to refuse it. The egg is now in the possession of the Italian authorities, and later will be included in the exposition of one of the museums.
