Incredible rocks found on top of a volcanic island

One of nature’s most mysterious phenomena is the discovery of rocks that cannot be explained by any known process. However, a group of scientists recently discovered such stones on top of a volcanic island, and their research led to surprising results.

These stones, known as “impossible stones,” were found on Assumption Island, which is located in the South Atlantic Ocean. The island is a high volcanic cone that rises from the depths of the ocean. Scientists who have studied this island have noticed that on top of it there are rocks that cannot be explained by any formation processes.

The stones were discovered in the 1920s, but only in recent years have scientists been able to begin investigating them. The study of these rocks has allowed scientists to understand that they were formed by a violent volcanic explosion. The stones were thrown to the surface and remained on top of the island.

However, scientists cannot explain how these rocks were able to end up on top of the volcanic cone. Usually, rocks ejected by a volcano remain on the slopes or at the bottom of the cone. So how did these rocks make it to the top?

One hypothesis is that these rocks were ejected by the volcano so high that they were able to fly through the air currents and fall to the top. However, this explanation cannot be confirmed experimentally.

Another hypothesis is that these stones were carried to the top of the volcanic cone by lava, which rose from deep within the earth and captured the stones on its way. This also cannot be confirmed experimentally, but scientists believe that this is the most likely explanation.

Although scientists cannot explain exactly how these rocks ended up on top of the volcanic cone, their research has provided valuable information about the formation processes of islands and volcanic cones.
