In Novosibirsk scientists have developed an innovative scanner that allows to “see” people’s thoughts.
The MRI shows the brain activity when a person commits any of the action. For example, if it compresses the wrist, then the screen shows the activity of specific parts of the brain, in fact – the human mind.
The uniqueness of the scanner is in a special electronic coils, receiving a signal during scanning of the brain, once it digitized and on the computer a few minutes later comes the final image brain activity in the moment when a person performs a specific action or think about that right now, he’ll do it.
The new invention is a big breakthrough in medicine and the device has great features that will facilitate the work of doctors during operations on the brain and for studies in neurophysiology.
