The magnetic poles of the Earth will soon be reversed

Over the past 200 years, the Earth’s magnetic field has weakened by 15 percent. This may be a sign that the north and south poles of the planet are about to be swapped.

Solar winds will start punching holes in the ozone layer of the Earth. This can damage electrical networks, affect the weather and increase the level of diseases caused by the radiation of space.

So says Daniel Baker of the University of Colorado, who says that many parts of the surface of our planet will soon become uninhabitable after a reversal of the poles.

The magnetic field surrounds our planet and is a protective barrier allowing living organisms to live on Earth and this shield quickly weakens, and when the poles turn, that protection will disappear altogether.

Many scientists warn that the moment of the coup of the poles is close, like never before. In a new report, Daniel Baker, director of the Atmospheric and Space Physics Laboratory at the University of Colorado, claims that there are signs of an early reversal of the magnetic poles.
