Yoga: secrets of the ancient teachings

Yoga is not just a trendy hobby, it is an ancient teaching that has its roots in the depths of centuries. People have been practicing yoga for thousands of years, and every year more and more people discover this mysterious practice. But what is yoga really? What secrets does it hold within itself? In this article we will try to reveal all the secrets of the ancient teaching.

The oldest yoga

Yoga is the most ancient art that came to us from time immemorial. According to the Rigveda, the Book of Hymns, the earliest monument of world culture, yoga was known long before our era. Images and sculptures found throughout India represent people practicing yoga.

But not only in India knew about yoga. There are versions that yoga appeared many thousands of years ago in the ancient civilization Arctida, which existed on the continent connecting America and Eurasia. After a global catastrophe this continent disappeared and with it this highly developed civilization also disappeared.

But some inhabitants of Arctida managed to save themselves and pass on valuable knowledge about yoga to the priests of other civilizations – Hittids, Pacifids and Atlantids, which were also destroyed after many thousands of years. But at the collapse of these civilizations there were survivors who brought the ancient knowledge of yoga to India and Egypt (in ancient Egyptian pyramids there are images of people in yoga asanas).

Shiva is the creator of yoga

According to ancient Indian legends, yoga was created by the god Shiva himself and given to people. But that’s not the only thing that makes it special. Science fiction writer Alexander Kazantsev claimed in his novel “The Phaetes” that Shiva is an alien, with his “extra” hands being the manipulators of the spacesuit he was wearing on Earth.

Of course, this is just a fantasy novel, but Kazantsev was not alone in his belief that the ancient gods were aliens from other planets. Thousands of researchers, including the famous writers Erich von Daniken and Zecharia Sitchin, are inclined to this version. And the latter claims that aliens, in fact, and created man by genetic engineering.

Mythical gods and high technology

Mythical gods possessed high technology! For example, Shiva traveled in a flying chariot. The ancient Indian poetic source “Samarangana Sutradahra” says: “Strong and sturdy should be his body made of light material like a big flying bird. A device with mercury and an iron heater underneath should be placed inside. By means of the force that lurks in the mercury, which sets in motion the carrying whirlwind, the person inside this chariot can fly long distances across the sky in a most amazing way…. The chariot develops the power of thunder thanks to mercury. And it immediately turns into a pearl in the sky”.

Certainly, all this sounds incredible, but after all it is an ancient doctrine! And who knows what secrets asanas keep in themselves? Maybe the code of rules for all mankind and the meaning of existence are encrypted in them?

Health benefits of yoga

But back to our reality. Yoga is not only a mysterious teaching, but also a useful activity for health. Yoga helps to improve flexibility, strength and stamina of the body and also improves mental health. Yoga helps to reduce stress, improve sleep, improve digestion and circulation, and improve overall health.

In addition, yoga can help fight various health conditions such as arthritis, depression, insomnia, headaches, and many others. Yoga is a unique teaching that helps a person not only physically but also spiritually.
