The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the USA predicts that on August 4 the Earth will pass through a stream of solar wind flowing from a large coronal hole.
A moderate geomagnetic storm G2 (Kp = 6) is predicted. Polar lights are possible at latitudes slightly to the south of the 60th parallel.
