A geomagnetic storm is raging on Earth

The ejection from the solar flare hit the Earth’s magnetic field several hours earlier than expected. A sudden jump in the speed and density of the solar wind heralded its appearance, followed by a sharp jump in magnetometers around the world.

Currently, the Earth is moving in the wake of a coronal ejection, and the storm may intensify depending on the flux density.
