Residents of northeastern Mexico were stunned when a green fireball lit up the night sky. The authorities said that the burning meteorite debris caused local forest fires in the vicinity.
Messages came from all over the northern state of Nuevo Leon after a meteorite flew across the sky at about 10:14 pm local time on Tuesday evening.
