Amazing photo of two galaxies from Hubble’s archive

The galaxies presented on Hubble’s image are at distance about 300 million light years from us near zodiac Virgo constellation.

By estimates of scientists who investigate a galactic object of Arp the 240, first rapprochement of galaxies (when galaxies have passed by each other) 250 million Loot have taken place ago. At repeated rapprochement, galaxies can merge completely in a whole.
