Astronomers showed a galaxy in the form of a milky drop in the night sky

A decent number of galaxies are inhabited by the image presented here, made with the help of the 2.6-meter VLT ground-based telescope (European Space Agency). On the eye-popping mosaic photo, one can consider the features of galactic structures.

Taking into account the fact that Very Large Telescope (VLT) can observe very dim astronomical objects in the smallest details, astronomers use it to study such soft objects.

One of the galaxies shown in the photo is NGC 5018. This milky-white galaxy is visible near the central part of the image. It is in the constellation of the Virgin and can at first sight remind the growing drop. This galaxy has a tail consisting of stars and cosmic gas.
