Earth approaching stream of debris from comet Thatcher

Earth is approaching a stream of debris from Comet Thatcher (C / 1861 G1), the source of annual meteor shower.

If the weather forecasts are correct, then the Lyrides will peak at night from April 21 to 22 at a speed of up to 15 meteors per hour.

These meteors are best seen from the northern hemisphere, before dawn.
