Meteorite fall recorded over the Mediterranean Sea

The fall of the meteorite was noticed above Spain on December 14. It was brighter than the full moon and crashed into the atmosphere at a speed of about 131,000 kilometers per hour.

The fireball appeared about 109 km above the sea, above a point about 45 km west of the Spanish coast. From there it moved westward and disappeared about 35 km above the Mediterranean Sea.
