A meteorite that entered the Earth’s atmosphere was seen above Spain on January 12 at 3:43 local time. It crashed into the atmosphere at a speed of about 105,000 kilometers per hour.
The fireball flew over the Mediterranean Sea. It began about 82 km above the Mediterranean Sea, moved northeast and ended about 51 km above the sea.
