NASA has published more than 600 photos of Mars, showing gullies, dunes, craters, geological layers and other elements of the landscape of the planet. Pictures made “the Mars Orbiter Reconnaissance” which revolves around the red planet since 2006.
Today the surface of the red planet’s arid and geologically inactive. But the bumps and cracks on Mars point to its turbulent geological past. Archive of photos here.
