NASA published a video of the active zone on the Sun turning to the Earth

NASA published a video of sunspot group No. 2665, which became the source of the last two emissions observed on July 23 and 28. This active area is larger in size than the Earth and now it slowly creeps out to the visible side of the Sun, gradually turning towards our planet.

Active area No. 2665 is rapidly increasing and in this video, recorded by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory from July 5 to 11, 2017, one can look at this area during its passage through the visible part of the Sun disc.

This spot is the first to appear after the sun has been calm for a long time and this is the only group of sunspots at this moment.
