NASA has laid out many new photos of Martian landscapes. Pictures show that the landscapes of Mars can be of a variety of colors – from deep brick and black to sky-blue and turquoise.
The photos were taken by MRO (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter), which was launched into space in 2005.
The device made thousands of photos of Mars, and NASA regularly replenishes the collection of high-resolution images available to everyone. Dunes, valleys, ravines and other features of the Martian landscape are emphasized due to the position of Mars relative to the Sun and the apparatus, and sometimes really impressive pictures are obtained.
