NASA showed an unusual cloudy landscape on Jupiter

NASA published a photo of unusual clouds of complex shapes in the Northern Temperate Zone of Jupiter.

The frame was taken with the aid of the spacecraft Juno, which was 11,350 kilometers from the upper layers of the clouds.

Such an intricate landscape is created by the fact that the swirling bright white clouds are above other cloud layers and cast shadows on them.

Scientists note that such phenomena help to determine the distance between different levels of the atmosphere of Jupiter, as well as their composition and origin.
