NASA has published a photograph transmitted by the Curiosity Rover that took this picture in the area of mount sharp and used for the filming of the Mast Camera instrument that has two cameras with multiple spectral filters to remove the surface of Mars in natural colors.
Curiosity gave the photo to the Ground, where they were processed after correcting the white balance. NASA reported that now the photo of Mars looks like would see the Mars person standing on the surface of the planet.
