In the funeral services market, an unusual proposal appeared. British company Ascension Flights offers wishing to disperse the ashes of the deceased in space and even get high-quality video of this funeral process.
The authors of the project – two students from Sheffield, who worked on the technology launch for five years. They proposed to send dust in a special capsule outside the terrestrial atmosphere – to a height of about 34 thousand meters, reports The Independent.
This technology has already been tested on animals: their ashes flew through the atmosphere, and then some particles left the Earth.
The cost of this service will be 795 pounds (more than 60 thousand rubles). It is noted that all these actions are coordinated with the Civil Aviation Administration.
