Laredo is a city in the state of Texas in the United States on the border with Mexico, the administrative center of Webb County. Population 231,470. It is an agglomeration with the Mexican city of Nuevo Laredo across the Rio Grande, which is about 1.17 million residents, including its suburbs on both sides of the border.
